I attended the BRCGS Lead Auditor course version 9 (5-day virtual training course) with Jacintha. I passed on my first attempt obtaining 100% on the exam. It was amazing, she has good knowledge and she knows how to deliver it. The course was in English. I have known Ms Jacintha Joseph for over twelve (12) years. I first met Ms Josephs when she worked with SGS as a quality management and food safety management systems Lead Auditor. “I attended a 3-day virtual BRCGS Interpretation course on July 12-14, 2021 and a 5-day virtual Lead Auditor Food Safety v8 Course on August 9-13, 2021 with Jacintha Joseph in Hong Kong. Both courses were great and worth to take. As a Chinese taking this course in English, there was no language barrier at all. Although it was a virtual course due to the pandemic restrictions, Jacintha was not affected by this, she can express herself clearly and detailed. Due to her rich audit experience in the food industry, she shared many real examples in the class to explain the clauses, shared the real situation of the industry, and made it easier for the students to get the point. Another point of appreciation is the small class teaching, with only 4-5 students in a class, giving students more opportunities and enough time to express their views, opinions and questions, and she answered the questions with her patient and professional knowledge. I have never been exposed to BRCGS before taking this course, but Jacintha inspired, guided and supported me to do my best during the exam. Now I can understand this BRCGS in depth after the course and I passed the exam with a score of 80%+ in the first attempt! Both programs exceeded my expectations! Jacintha was very kind and helpful, she shared the global legislation links with me that I was interested even after the completion of this class. “I followed the Lead Auditor training course for BRCGS Packaging version 6 with Jacintha Joseph. Thanks for your dedication Jacintha helping me out to do this Lead Auditor training. My key decision criteria to select and take up this course was the experience of the trainer. I wanted her to be experienced with packaging audits and did not consider on the time zone or my availability. Although there are BRCGS Lead Auditor courses provided by local BRC ATPs here in Thailand which is of course very easy to understand as the sessions are done in local language, I preferred to take the risk to attend the course with a more experienced ATP like you, although English was one of the obstacles for my learning. Delegate Interpretation to BRCGS Food version 8
I attended a 3 day course delivered virtually on the Interpretation to BRCGS Food version 8 with Jacintha Joseph. The training objective were clearly defined, and my expectation in participating in this course was fully met. Reading the standard slowly and explaining the requirements with examples was most helpful. The topics relevant to my industry was covered with examples and workshops while providing in-depth interpretation of the Standard. The training course was well structured with workshops on HACCP, Food Safety Culture, clause 8 requirements. Exercises in groups were well set and was most helpful to understand the standard as the level of interaction with industry personnel was very good. Video presentations and exercises to understand clause 8 followed by discussions was very helpful. The video presentation also helped to do on-site observation in the application of the requirements. The quality of the teaching was very good. The trainer interacted with all the delegates answered all our questions and concerns. The training materials distributed was helpful. I would have preferred if the course duration to be longer like 5 – 6 days with more group exercises as I was very new to BRCGS Food. The exam was of good standard. This is the first time I experienced an open book exam of multiple choice questions. I did not know to select the most relevant answer. If we can have discussions on the exam questions & answers it would enhance our learning. Overall the training was very good it showed the expertise and experience of the Tutor. Trainer’s proficiency was excellent. I recommend this training to all in my industry. Thank you Jacintha.
